Synchronet installation

This is the “best path” if you’re on Synchronet: a native JavaScript client that feels like a first-class door.

1) Install the script

Download bbslink.js and place it in your Synchronet mods directory: C:\SBBS\MODS (Windows) or /sbbs/mods (Linux), then name it bbslink.js.

2) Create a door entry

In SCFG, add a new external program (door) that runs the script with the door code as an argument.

?bbslink lord

Door codes: lord, lord2, teos, ooii, tw2002.

3) Add your credentials

The script will need your BBSlink credentials (provided after you apply). Keep them in the script configuration as instructed on the SysOp welcome email.
